I wish you better luck than I've had. My car's lost about 260 lbs. now since the winter and all I've sold is the stock seats. Everything else is still in my basement. In the next few months I'll be removing my AC and heater also, like you. Pretty soon I'll just take my interior parts and the other things to a dumpster.

i've lost

25lbs hood
35lbs rear seat
40 lbs spare and jack
25 lbs lighter wheels
20 lbs EGR, AIR, CAT, headers unstead of manifolds
20 lbs carbeau front seats
5 lbs 5th speaker
15 lbs lighter front bumper
--------------
~185lbs

off the camaros curb 3400lbs i should be around 3215lbs

These are just etimates and there are a few other little things like lighter valvetrain components, speakers felt lighter, floor mats, rear hatch cover, washer fluid/tank, fog lights so hopefully that will acount for any over estimates i may have...

Goal is to lose another 50-75 lbs. well actually to be in the mid 3100lb area. Hopefully AC, rear belts, driveshaft, cruise control, and a few other minor things will get me there. I should lose a bit just in the head porting

The only place i'd added wieght is the crank (longer stroke ) and for billet rods.
Hopefully ill get there and still be daily driveable

heh, you could put it in the for sale section...I am 99% sure you'll get an email from a guy named Slomofo who is willing to take stuff off your hands for free and pay for shipping (though you still pay for packing materials and boxing the stuff up). He is spamming everyone on the board with a list like mine through PM and email, as well as often in the posts themselves trying to get free stuff... Must have got himself a new UPS account..

Since it sounds like a lot of us are putting our cars on some serious diets, where's a good place to weigh our cars? I'm thinking my car should be at about 3200 lbs. right now, but I need to know for sure.

I go to the feed and grain here in town. It's where the farmers buy seed and feed. They have a weighmaster there. They charge like $5 I think... alot of people who build trailers go there and then they can take the slip to sec of state to get plates. It's pretty accurate, and very easy...

Check to see if you have a feed and grain that would do it, or even a scrap metal recycler. Wherever you go, ask how far their scale goes out as far as accuracy...I have seen some that only go down to 20lb increments....
