The Beast Awakes!

For those of you who don't know, I was not able to drive my Nova at all last summer, primarily due to circumstances beyond my control.
But last night I took The Nova out for a little cruising, and MAN WHAT A BLAST! It's like getting a much-needed and long-overdue heroin fix or something. [moan] Oooooh, yeah [/moan] OK, I'd better stop typing now...

Actually, I haven't gotten around to putting those heads on yet, but I'm pretty sure they're gonna rock! I'm just glad to have a chance to drive it again.
BTW, the chambers check out at 64cc, so that should put my compression ratio right at 10:1.

It was cool though. Seriously. But then again, it takes an awful lot to gross me out.

Well I got to take a ride in the Nova. That thing is bad ***, thanks for taking it out while I was there Pete! Wish I didn't have to come rushing home ecause someone broke into my garage , but that car is definatly sweet. I want to see that thing at the track this year man, let me know if you need any help with that driveshaft loop!

Well looks like I'm gonna be the last one to get my car out of the garage this year. If it gets done this year. I need to rob a bank or something.

Thanks for the kind words; it's part of what makes the wait worthwhile.
And don't rob a bank. Statistically, it's about the worst possible crime to commit (bank robbers almost ALWAYS get caught).
