I am coming home this weekend. I will be flying in to Grand Rapids at 3:55 on Friday Oct 18th. I don't have to come back to this hell hole known as Phoenix till Sunday.My plane flys out of G.R. at 7:55 pm. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday night. but I was just wondering if anyone was going to Stanton at all or if there was anything cool going on. I know Harold and I have a date with some VHT, ET Drags, and Leland Rd for some big wheelies caught on tape and film. Other than that I was going to go visit a hottie at CMU on Sunday which is only 20 min away from stanton. if theres anything going on Please fill me in.

Unfortunatly,
I will still be coming home this weeknd, but I don't think I will have as much time as I had hoped for. I found out today that my Great Grandma passed away at the age of 101 years old. i will have to deal with the family and Funeral and whatnot. I think the funeral will be Friday so I am changing my flight reservations right now to fly in on Thursday at 3:55 pm into grand rapids. I would still like to meet up with Harold and Red Roc Wrench,and Eric also whoever else would like to join us. Maybe we could even do some racing at Stanton on Saturday.

James I am sorry to hear about your Grandmother. 101 is a good long life. My Grandmother passed a few years back and everyone was crying. People started asking me why I wasn't upset and i told them. She lived to be 95. I am happy she lived so long but she had been very sick and she was better off. They were getting mad at me. But I feel she lived a good life and I didn't want to see her suffer and I was glad she didn't have to go thru that.
The funny part is my Grandmother looked so old she looked like she was going to die for the last 35 years. Every time I would go see her I would go tell my mother grandma isn't going to be with us much longer. She would just keep going. When we would go to her house we would do repairs around the house. You know she would out work us and her in her 90's. I just like to remember the good times.
Sorry you have to come home to that tho. Hope to see you the next time you come in.

 

NONPOINT will be playing at "Harpos" in our Detroit area and i'm gonna check them out again. They did not dissapoint last time!!!
