Talking anyone here need some work done to there cars?

heads, cams, headers, gauges, convertors, LT1 and LS1. if you have something nonperformance related, feel free to ask. maybe I'll do that too. depends on what it is and if I have the tools to do it.

and for those who dont know me, I am a ASE certified, dealership tech.. I have done lots of upgrades for guys here at dirt cheap prices. Im in need of some extra cash due to my engine rebuild. so if you need some work done, please email me with what you want done/fixed and I'll get back with you to let you know if I can/will do it and how much. Im not trying to get rich here, just pay some car expenses to keep the miss' happy. I do work 50hours a week, so I can only work at nights/weekends and I only want to do any work here at my house.

chris

ps: I hope chris and/or jason wont have a problem with this.

Naaw their usually pretty cool about that kind of stuff, but i think you should have PM'ed one of them first and asked them.. I did when I posted some detailing work a while back and Jason said it was cool.

My brake lights keep sticking (staying) on when I shut my car off. If I jiggle my brake pedal they turn off but last night they must have come on again somehow and it drained my battery.

Too bad you weren't closer to me, I would have you re-install my transmission and figure out what the rattle is that I have.

I have a 96 turbo Impala SS and the header (it only has 1) bolts keep backing out. They were safety wired but had to be removed so the header could be welded. I have a set of Breslin bolts that are locking that I need installed. Car is for sale and the ticking is turning people off.

eric, first you need to look at the brack switch. look up under the dash for a white plastic switch that the pedal arm pushes on. Id be willing to bet that either the switch retainer is broken, or the swith is broken. if you were closer, Id swing by for something like that. if you want to come out here, I can have a new switch and retainer with me here incase it was either of those two parts. honestly, if your more then a couple hours away, it shouldnt be that exp. for a shop to figure that out. it only takes bout 10-15 min.s to install a brake switch.

tajack, can you bring the car here? if so, I can knock it out for ya. is the gasket leaking? or just loosening up? typically if it has loosened up, it will have burned the gasket, so it will never seal up. call me on my cell tomorrow and we can figure out what we need to do. and, what are breslin bolts? Ive used the stage 8 locking bolts, and those new bolts w/the allen locking bolt look nice too. is that what you have?

How about exhaust work? I need my duals cut and welded, they hit my torque arm. Might even want to go with flows...

Also cam. If I had you do the install, wait, I do the install and you help me, would that work? I have never messed with the valvetrain and could use some help. I would still pay you for your time of course...

broken wheel stud, piece of cake. front or back? if its front, $20. if its back, the axle might have to be removed. if so, then Id need $30, plus youd need to buy new rear end fluid.

as far as the cam goes, $500 if you have headers and i do the work at my house. if you havent ever done valvetrain work, then your not goin to be able to do much of the work by yourself. we can discuss that option, but it wont be too much cheaper cause it act. will take longer if we do it that way. I dont have any problem teaching what and why as we go, I act. enjoy that. email me with your mods and what you want to put in there we can discuss the details if your still interested.

Those Breslin bolts I have are the new locking kind with the built in allen locking bolt. The last gasket blew out so I got solid copper gaskets. Some people have mentioned doubling the gaskets. Have you ever heard of this? I have a truck and trailer so I can deliver it, but I'm going to be busy this weekend.
My target price for a slghtly used 04 GTO is $25000. The 05s are going to have several improvements including the 400hp LS2 and I heard they will only be $1800 more. The GTO isnt going to happen if I dont sell the 2 cars I have now. I dont have any bites at all on my 01 TA with 39000 miles at only $17000. I have some Hooker LTs and a converter that I'll need installed if it doesnt sell. I'll give you a call Sat.
