True - you could use your own car. One of my niegbours found his truck parked in the street - but - he left it in the driveway.

Good old Mother Nature didnt like it in the driveway.

8" in some parts of Detroit.

Over here in the Lansing area we had the heavy lightning strikes and had a few buildings and trees catch fire because of it.

My basement flooded 2 nights ago, and it is still raining. There is no place for it to go anymore.

I worked til 9 last night dryingout a basement. Started at 3pm. Had to put a sump pump in the guys driveway just so we could walk from the truck to the house with getting soaked!

That's what our company does, so if anyone needs an estimate for repairs to give their insurance company, or someone to dry you out and fix the damage, give a holler. Disaster Restoration is our business, and I am a nationally certified disaster restoration specialist now. (And I am pretty good at negotiating with adjusters... I can usually get you 50-100% more settlement out of them)

My 30 year old sump pump just quit last night but I caught it before the water got to the speed parts. Darned cheap-*** gutters, I need to replace them with something bigger: The kind you can flush softballs down.

Everyhting is flooded out here. The basement used to have a serious flooding problem but I added a secind sump hole and pump and used Dryloc on the walls and floor, and it's still dry! The pumps run like crazy, but the floors are dry! Hopefully we don't loose power anytime soon, I only have one battery backup pump working right now....
