I was just wondering if it's as busy as ever? I am going to go down this Wed. but I am going to get there when the gates open at 4pm. I figure this should give me a good hour + before it starts to get crowded. I just want 3-4 solid runs with good launches.

I don't care to sit in line for an hr+ between runs.

Anyone else thinking of going?

My car felt like it was missing 50hp yesterday. Freaking 100*F intake temps and 95% humidity = . That is all...

 

I was ordering a new trailer at D&R Trailers on Plank rd and 23 yesterday at 4pm and saw a lot of cars and trailers heading toward the drag strip. But it was so hot I didnt feel like going there and watching. Got in the TA and cruised home with air on max. I will be there Friday watching the heads up race, but I'll bring the diesel truck so I can chill in the AC when there is no action on the track.

 

I decided it wasn't worth going yesterday. There would have been no such thing as cooling down between runs.

I hear that next Wednesday it is only going to be 88 so I will try then. I plan on being there when the track opens so I can make three or four runs before it gets packed.

Anyone else plan on going next week?
