The chimney basically broke and collapsed and left a big mess and hole at my mom's house in Detroit a while ago and we are lookiong to finally get it repaired. I was just wondering how complicated a chimney really is. It seems simple enough to repair but I am sure there is hidden stuff since I've never done masonary work before.
