In a few weeks I'm looking to get either one of these cams, and it would be nice to walk into the dealer and pick one up. I looked into a few local speedshops but didn't find any so I guess th dealer is the only one that carries them.

 

Any dealer that is a GMPP retailer should have one. Shaheen Chevy in Lansing is a GMPP outlet.

 

1. Don't get the hotcam, I had one and it sucks. It could have been Kirk's ****ty tuning abilities, or lack thereof, but I think the cam sucked.

2. Aren't you in Livonia? I'd be happy to help, I have the JPR cam tools and the Larry valvespring tool. Might cost you some Jimmy Johns, but I've done quite a few cam swaps on LS1 F-bodies.

 

mike, I'll buy the jimmy johns, you cut my grass. I could also your help to paint my garage walls. and by the time you finish that stuff, Im sure my dish's will all be dirty again. so we can work something out.

Thanks for the offer Mike, I may take you up on that depending when I actually get one. Actually I live close to milford now, but drive downtown to school, its gonna suck in the winter.
