So this "Street Warriorz" thing is going on Saturday at Milan. Do you think it might be good, or all rice? Ive never been to one. Anyone here going?

 

Rookie night at best Ever see a 16 second V6 Mustang go into the wall? I have. Saturday might be your best bet... Too many street tires and I can't find a break down of classes or if it's all test and tune, heads-up, etc...If they don't care enough to do that, they won't care about track prep.

 

it's not all that bad. more nice cars than rice. Didn't go last year, but the year before was fun. Just a lotta cars, I only got one run in. I was there for about 5 hours. After being in line for 45 minutes for my second run it started to rain and they called it a night. I was pissed, but nothing I could do. Just had to go home. Got in one high 13 second run with a 2.6 second 60 foot. No traction. Not gonna make it this year either. Not worth it IMO if you're going to race, but a decent time if you just wanna spectate.

 

went last year, got a whopping 5 passes in
there was a decent amount of rice... couldnt get a money run to save my life....and i drive a freakin 4dr
track prep sucked, prob b/c of all the street tires/ kids w/ mommy/daddys stock SRT out there to beat on it, there were a few decent cars, it was fun, but only b/c i went w/ a group of ppl...

 

let's put it this way. i spent 8 hours at work installing a bunch of electronics on this civic. they had to get ready for the "show" meaning the streetwarz. i asked them what kind of cars are there and they said it's like hot import nights.. meaning you'll see me at the bar hiding from the rice.

 

lol, that's what sells parts and keeps your job... rice or not you install it right? that's like yelling at the bartender for overserving.... can't complain about a problem you help create.

 

I just had to pretend it was a domestic haha
