Another one bites the dust

Worked on the Van this weekend. Appears a bolt worked lose from the air cleaner tie down and fell into the carb. Number 5 has a bent valve, and it is now a 250 5 cylinder. SOOOO....its time to find a new beater. After three years of beating the women out of the van with a stick....he the chics dig the van...I need a new one. I have a couple things lined up, but if any of you know where there is a decent 4x4 Van, any make or model, please let me know. It is not the only thing I want, but it is first on the list. A 4x4 van would be way cool, and would pull a trailer nicely. So anybody seen one on a back road, give me a yell.

Thanks
Q

Also, anybody need a good C6 or a stock front loader 9 inch rear end with 91k on it, give a yell. I am stripping the van of those good parts

Hell yeah, that disc was awesome. WAY better then the rap crap my buddy had in the truck. The parts are great, my brother is very happy, and I have already started using them. Got the electric waterpump installed on the housing. Looks very good.

Man...that thing had some serious style. What a shame. Can I have the door handle that I accidentally broke off at the M7 picnic? I'd like to display it at my bar on my basement.

Which reminds me...did you did my e-mail about the party this Friday?

Consider the door handle yours Yeah, I just read the mail today. Once again, I have to back out though. I get my engine back this weekend, and I have no kids to worry about. I have my painter coming over to paint it for me, and Saturday is all about getting it back between the fenders. Spring is way to close not to have a engine in my Camaro.

LOL, all this talk of vans, I just have to chime in.

For the past few months I have been driving this huge old Ford van that belongs to my Fiance's Mom. It's a "Club Wagon" and is a land barge for sure.
One thing that is cool though is that the thing has a wheel chair lift on the side, which makes it nice to pick up heavy things like trannys and stuff when you load them in. It's got a straight six too, so gas milage isn't so bad. Just hate those huge blind spots though.

It's just funny driving it when I am used to the Camaro, nobody wants to be behind it at a stoplight or when you're driving 'cause they think it's going to be super slow or something. I actually drive it fairly agressively, for a van. It really needs an overdrive though. The thing tops out around 85 or so on the highway, that's probably for the best.
