After the M7 ther is a Street Tire Shootout.

$25.00 entry fee could win you $1000.00

I be sticken it out.... nothing like a full day of racing.

Are NT555R DRs considered "Street Tires"

Does it have to be a street tired car or street car? Full exhaust 2 front seats etc etc....

yeah there are some rules. I don't think u can have a trans brake (or use it), full exhaust and dot approved tires. There might be some other stuff but thats all I can remember and I am not sure about the full exhuast part.

I'll be waiting to see the guy with a racing seat on the drivers side, lawn chair on the passenger side with his trans brake ducktaped off, rockin 315 nittos.

STREET TIRE SHOOTOUT RULES 2002

GENERAL RULES

1. STREET LEGAL DOT TIRES

2. WORKING HEADLIGHTS AND TAILLIGHTS

3. PROOF OF REGISTRATION (CURRENT PLATE) PLUS PROOF OF INSURANCE

4. MUFFLERS

5. ALL CARS IN STREET ET ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LAUNCH THEIR CARS WITH THE AID OF A TRANSBRAKE, LINELOCK, REV LIMITER DURING ELIMINATIONS. THIS CLASS IS MEANT TO BE A FOOTBRAKE CLASS ONLY. ONE WARNING WILL BE GIVEN.

6. ALL DRIVERS RUNNING QUICKER THAN 14.00 MUST WEAR A HELMET.

7. ALL NHRA SAFETY RULES WILL BE FOLLOWED.

PRO STREET (8 CAR FIELD)

1. ANY DOT TIRE OR 10.5W SLICK (SLICK MAY NOT MEASURE MORE THAN 11.5")

2. ANY ENGINE COMBINATION ALLOWED

4. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS ONLY (TORQUE CONVERTOR MUST BE USED)

5. 2600 LB WEIGHT MINIMUM

6. NO CARS MAY COMPETE IN STREET ET WITH A SLICK

7. VEHICLE MUST BE REPRESENTATIVE AS A PRO STREET VEHICLE.

3. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS ONLY

4. QUALIFYING AS WELL AS ELIMINATIONS WILL BE BASED ON A 9.00 INDEX. (IF A CAR RUNS 8.99 IN QUALIFYING THEY WILL BE PLACED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE QUALIFYING LIST)

5. NO SUPER STREET CARS MAY COMPETE IN STREET ET WITH A SLICK.

WEIGHT REQUIREMENTS--

4 CYLINDER--2600 POUNDS

6 CYLINDER--2800 POUNDS

SMALL BLOCK--2900 POUNDS

BIG BLOCK--3100 POUNDS

NITROUS--ADD 150 POUNDS

BLOWER--ADD 150 POUNDS

TURBOCHARGER--ADD 150 POUNDS

ALCOHOL FUEL--ADD 150 POUNDS

Remember there is a buy back 1st or 2nd round if you loose.


$25.00 could equal $1000.00

loose round 1 or 2 buy back for $15.00
