94TA airbag resistance values?

Does anybody know what size resistors I woukd need to make the airbag controller think there is still a airbag in the steering wheel?

I know somebody here works at a chevy/pontiac dealer, you may have a tool called an airbag system load tool(or simalar)[I work at a Chrysler dealer, we have one for chrysler vehicals], I need the resistace across that Please

Hey Adam. What did you change your wheel to, another stock one or something aftermarket? If aftermarket, what did you pick?

I have to disconnect my airbags to go road racing this year and don't particularly want a light on in my dash either so I'm interested in what you guys find out.

i did another stock wheel from one of the newer models. i have a 96 wheel, 98 airbag?, and 99 controls, with a 2002 wiring harness!!!!

um, i put a socket wrench through my guage cluster so i had to replace it, and the new one didn't have an airbag light in it so???

i mean, you can disconect your air bags from under the dash, its easy!!!! i don't think i'm gonna find the resistance for it.

the reason i got dave to ask was, I WANNA MAKE SURE MY PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WILL WORK!!.

good luck with the racing mike.

later

still got your old airbag? Just take the two leads of an ohm meter and touch them to the terminals of it where it used to plug into the stock harness. See what the meter reads.

ahh, skip that then

I'm mildly familiar with small electronics and electrical bug chasing, but not with airbags!
