Re: 7th Annual Michigan FBody Meet & Greet 2011

354 registrations and just under a week to go -- I think we've broken a record for pre-registrations! Thanks guys! If the growth in pre-registrations is any indicator, this year's show is definitely looking like it's going to be our biggest yet!

I also wanted to invite everyone to view our official M&G forum on MiFbody -- you don't have to register to view -- there's a handful of convoys that are planning on cruising in together. There's convoys for Lapeer area, Grand Rapids, North Oakland, Macomb/Shelby Twp and Royal Oak. Just an option that some people enjoy, but it's not for everyone too so if you're interested check out those threads for info.

For those who haven't seen the weather report -- Saturday is looking like it's going to be an absolute blast. Mid 70's, sunny, and no chances for rain. Keep your fingers crossed, pray to whatever Gods you believe in, let's have this year's weather be the best one yet!

01SLPSS(also registered to attend) and I put a different tranny in my Z saturday. Blew the forward sprag racing at Thompson Dragraceway in August of 09,been driving it as a 'manual auto' since then, even a trip to Florida. 4 days ago I lost 4th gear and 3rd gear with 4.56s' is too high a rpm for travelling. I picked up a used tranny in Rochester Indiana in Feb.2010 and one in Cincinnatti in June 2010. The tranny we put in seems to be functioning fine so I'm back on schedule to attend.

Anyone interested in meeting up to caravan over? I know of a spot by 15 and Utica that we can use as a nice, quiet place to meet.

Calling for scattered T-storms all day, but scroll down on the link to see all the green in the state. It looks like a total washout!

Re: 7th Annual Michigan FBody Meet & Greet 2011

Unfortunately, they (the weathermen) do it to us every year, Brian. I'm sure we'll have great weather, there's supposed to be thunder storms on Friday night so I'm sure that's why they're stretching it into Saturday. Keep your fingers crossed, Brian!!!!

But no matter what, it's almost here!! 383 registrations when we closed it down for the year. Absolutely humbled at the amount of registrations we received -- each year it's been growing and that can only mean good things.

I just got my car running again today after my oil pump's pickup tube fell off. Have to get an alignment tomorrow while finishing up the M&G preparation, full day tomorrow!

See everyone on Saturday, thanks for everyone's enthusiasm and support for the show!

PS - Scott, the FBod Father, e-mailed me and said that although he cannot make it to the Meet & Greet this year, some of the core Camaro team will be on hand for the show and he also asked me to reserve a handful of spots for some "special" Camaros that might be coming. I've got my fingers crossed for the one that's in our flyer, hahaha.

Sorry, man...been crazy busy lately and I am behind on things. Chris may not be able to make it.

There is already what seems to be another meeting point already set up by some 5th gen dudes...so I think they need some variety.

It on the north east side of Hall Road and Utica Park blvd, In the Shelby Corners Shopping Center.

They are meeting at 6:30 and heading out at 6:45. I plan to be with them, I think it would be cool to make some new friends. Anyone else want to join me there?

If it rains tomorrow morning, I'm going to wait it out until it stops. No fun cruising in the rain. Hopefully it doesn't rain though...

That sounds amazing, I'd love to but I think we're gonna try to go to Warren Dunes as long as it doesn't rain. Might try and stop up if we can though, my buddy will have his '98 SS out tomorrow, maybe I could talk him into rollin' up there, we'll see. I'll be hittin' this thing up next year for sure ,
