NO you can't pretend your 92 is an 82. The Concours judging for Camaros 25 years old or older is for STOCK/ORIGINAL/RESTORED cars.

Its to bad that you don't like the new place, we moved there because it seemed to be what the majority of the participates was asking for.

parking is limited and the dirt on the way to the judges is a pita. it's visually nicer i suppose but that's about it. anyhow it's just an opinion so please take it with a grain of salt.

my 92 is stock. the whole joke was an 92 isn't much different then an 82 other then by the years so why not cut it off at the 81 year since it was the ending era for that body style. then again superfest isn't know for it's judging ethics.

great show none the less though, at least it's something as it's definately the best camaro show in michigan.

The reason it was cut at 82 is it is for cars 25 years and older. So it will be 83 in 2008, 84 in 2009, etc. Has nothing to do with the gen of camaro.

As far as the ethics of the judging, What do you mean? Please explain.

The Judging is something we are working very hard to change. We will have new judges this year. Also we added the concours judging. And will have NEW update Judging sheets and New Updated judging guidelines.

i know, the vehicle year was meant to be a joke that has been taken way to serious now so lets just forget about it...

as far as the judging you can't make everyone happy so i believe you should run it how you should and do what you can. we'll see this year how it's changed. i haven't had my car judged there in 2 years because it became what it was that's why it's great you have a drivers class. i still agree that it's the best camaro show in michigan as far as getting together but the trophies in the past haven't meant much.

if i have one suggestion on your judging is that you loose your points for the emergency kit. if you want to do that for a car that came equiped with it that's fine but 5+ points for having a fire extinguisher is a joke. anyhow this is just one example and it's my opinion so please take it for what it is. all i'm saying is the show needs some refinement which is why the numbers aren't growing the way they should because you loose alot of people from previous years.

The judging is being revamped this year, I agree with you on the fire ext, and a few other areas. Believe me, we have listened to alot of participants and have taken alot under consideration to help make this the best ALL Camaro event anywhere.

Superfest is a awesome show. I go every year! The best part is Saturday night in the hotel parking. Some chick was running around in a 2 piece bikini. Just a little heads up SLP F-body club is thinking of doing the Hot Rod Power tour from Cleveland,OH to Kalamazoo. That would be awesome!!!
