What a difference a driver can make! The guy in the one car was obviously just learning how to drive a car with that much power. His launches were bad, his shifting was painfully slow (when he wasn't missing shifts) and he spend most of the night running high 13's / low 14's at around 104 mph. He was starting to figure it out by the end of the night and had it down to a 13.4.

The other guy knew what he was doing. He had cold air induction and Nitto's. Supposedly those were his only mods. I can believe it. His best time of the night that I saw was a 12.6 @ 112.5 mph. Not too bad at all!

One guy was that plus a lightning pulley. he got beat by a 00 SS with spray..
