12 second 94 LT1 Caprice for sale
Hi, all. I don't make a lot of posts, but do a lot of lurking. Some of you may recognize me more by this car, as it sees a lot of street and track time. I unfortunately find that I need to sell it. I have owned this car for 7 years. It has been meticulously maintained.
FOR SALE :
1994 Caprice Classic LS
White with Adriatic Blue interior
Car is loaded with every option, dual power seats, windows, antenna, keyless entry, leather, AM/FM/CD, RPO B4U (sport package), which includes LT1, V92, VO8, FE3, GW9, G80 (in order these are : trailer package, heavy duty cooling, sport suspension, 2.93, posi).
The body and interior are in very good condition, and current mileage is 135,000. The driver's seat has new OEM leather cover and foam, and the hood was recently repainted (due to rock chips). The windows are tinted, with the rear at 30% and side windows a mild 50%. It has never been in a sheet metal damaging accident, although the front bumper and cover were replaced 4 years ago when I was clipped by a red light runner.
Newer front suspension (everything), brakes, calipers, power steering pump, water pump, alternator, battery, Opti, etc. Short block has 50,000 miles, trans has 12,000, axle has 28,000.
Performance details : Engine is a stock short block with gasket matched/ very slight port 1.94/1.50 valved iron heads, LT4 Hot Cam, GMPP 1.6 RR's, SLP headers and catback, BBK 52mm TB. Trans has internal mods and current torque converter is from a S-10 (stalls about 2200). Axle is 8.5" stocker with OEM 3.73's and an #400 Eaton posi. PCM was programmed by Ed Wright of FastChips and also has LT1 Edit capability.
Wheels are currently the stock 15" aluminum, with 235/70 BFG Radial T/A's (6000 miles, 95% tread, front) and 275/60 BFG Radial T/A's (6000 miles, 65% tread, rear).
Current power is 335rwhp/335rwtq with the stock catalytic converters. It averages 15/22 mpg, and is easily driven year round.
All of the original parts that I have will be included with sale of vehicle.
