$3500 to spend

I have got about $3000- $3500 to spen on the GTA, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the most effective mods are to get this thing to go faster.

I've pretty much decided to get some Corbeu seats (CR1s) so that leaves me with about $2200- 2700. Heres a small wish list, any suggestions on order of purchace?

1) HSR - $650 (private party sale)
2) T56 - lots of $$ (I need a clutch pedal )
3) coated SLP headers (were they $650?)
4) AFR 195s - are they $1000 - $1300?
5) Rejuvinate the suspension

or

6) spend it on the eclipse

best i ran with a stock longblock was 13.8 @104 with ported plenum, 4" cai, custom 3" exhuast, bilstein and eibach suspension with 2 way adjustable lca's and stock street tires...

point in case a good exhaust, good intake, and a nice set of sticky tires will help your car work well for that amount. blow it on heads, cam, other internal parts or other pieces of such stature and you will wish you spent otherwise.

how fast do you want to go?

cam kit, exhaust, intake and headwork would be my choices.

cam kit $650
cai $200
headers$650
catback $230 (flowmaster)
headwork $500+

I need to add that after what I saw last night at the track I would NEVER recommend a flowmaster muffler unless you had a cutout to bypass it.
A pal with a 95 LT1, mild heads, LT4 hot cam, 1.6s, ele waterpump, Hooker long tubes was running 12.9s @ 105 thru the muffler. Opened the cutout and ran consistent 12.7s @ 107.5. That's one heck of a Flomaster cork he's using

Thanks for the tips guys. I forgot to mention that it already has a Flowmaster cat-back. Oh yea it also has some [sarcasam]AWESOME[/sarcasam] swirlport heads which send up some real nice smoke clouds on startup, so I need (really want?) new heads.

limige, what kind of cam kit for $650? what hp, rpms, brand? Also it already has an open element K&N, I don't think thats my restriction at the moment.

BTW I'd like low 13s at some point, if what I listed above will get me there cool, if not it should get me close, right?

Yeah the 60s were the same all in the1.76-7. He has the American Thunder cat back which may be fine on a stock LT1 but it sure is a cork for this level of performance.

I didn't realize Flowmasters were that bad. I have a SLP 2OTL exhaust on my LT1. The cutout never made a damn bit of difference either before or after the ported heads and cam. Same exact times and mph with the cutout open or closed.

well i know mine can't be stopping much, the muffler has a big hole in the bottom and there isn't anything left inside. lol
sounds damn nice though!
i like the sound of mine before it was rotted out. i have the 3" catback single out with a resonator tip on it that about 4 1/2"x 10-15". i've gotten tons of good comments and people even have asked me at lights what exhaust i have cuz they love it.
