Bloomsburg. Yeah, there is at least 3 construction areas in the western part of the state on the turnpike...I know...I travel'd to Ohio about a month ago.
Well, with out going into the crazy things here....Texas, where I keep my residency, has Federal, Medicare and SS taken out of your check......that's it. There is a 7% sales tax there(6% here) and then property taxes there are like they are here...depending where you live and the value of your property depends on your property taxes(state and school). My parents live in Lancaster, have to pay State and City Property Taxes...and thats not the school tax they get the joy of paying afterwards
PA isn't the worst, but they're far from the cheapest. Conn is first, followed by Cali.
Its all good, I'll be in E. Hartford Conn. for about 3 months on my next contract job...so have fun in Philly.
