Guys please help me out....I know at least one of you has gone !air or !egr and needs to get around the PA inspection....are there ANYYY shops even remotely close to me that what let me slide for now? Please help me out, its getting to be crunch time

 

I know in my county, Northumberland......we only have to pass a visual test, until next year when they bring out the emission meters.

 

naticoke isnt to far behind tunkhannock for excitement , ive been there many times when i was younger, havent been there in many years but im sure it didnt change much, you have a job offer to move up there or just to do another pit stop

 

sleeper its not that hard to put back on your egr or air even if the air pump is just hanging there.i work at a local sunoco and will be moving into the shop after the summer.next summer i take my emissions classes so next year id def help you out.

 

Thanks ledfoot, although my headers do not have the provisions for emissions, so even if i can reinstall the hardware, which i agree would be easy the mechanic would realize that it is isnt functioning at all...visual test isnt as easy to pass as some may think...i need to find a lick-n-stick place asap...!!

Its the situation of what I want to do. I would love to be back in San Antonio Tx......I have a job offer in Conn. working for Pratt& Whitney that is suppost to last 3 months, make 28/hr + they pay for hotel + 30/day for food. I also get OT for it. In those 3 months, I can easily save enough money(along with what I have now) to start my own home inspection business in San Antonio. That's what I'm looking to do right now.

No offense, I was born in PA, lived here until I was 21 and don't get me wrong, its a nice to visit, but I don't see how everyone puts up with being taxed to heaven and highwater and them raising the cost on the PA Turnpike is a joke. The signs of "Heavy Truck Traffic"(you're kidding...on the interstate there are trucks??)/"High Target Enforcement Area"/Keep 2 dots between you and the person infront of you/Slow down save a life, signs are not the way a state that is in the red needs to spend your hard earned tax dollars. I hate to say it though You really need to get that governer yours out of office...he's quite the jackass.*/Rant*

ok so lets get a tally of people from teh allentown area, or people that would consider crusing to the allentown area once a week or so. maybe we can get seom get to gethers planed up.... im tired of tagging along with my buddys to there vw meets, those guys religiously meet twice a week and always ahve at least 20 cars. its pretty damn cool. if we could get soemthing like that together, start meeting, print up some flyers to put on any f-body you ever see giving them a link to this site and the dates and places we meet i think things coudl get real big, i kno there are alotta f-bodys around here!

 

where in pa did you grow up? yeah the raise on the turnpike sucks but they say it hasnt been touched in 11 years, taxes in most states suck for sure, not really sure how pa stacks against the national average
