What year car and what do you want done? There are different tuners in the area that do better work in some areas then other ( my opinion ).

william henn, member on here (foff667) ls1tuning@comcast.net fixed all of mikes mistakes for me (rapidmotorsports) rapid did not impress me at all and charged $550 to clear a code that came right back and got me a whooping 8hp ........ bill on the other hand came to my house, did a partial tune for $50 (full was like $150) and i gained 40rwhp, all my problems with the car running too lean and maf, vre files all corrupt were fixed, things mike should have seen. i usually say axceleratedmotorsports.com if you want a dyno tune, if you dont care about the dyno, foff667 is the way to go.

Most of my friends have either used CARTEK or The Vette Doctors. I know CARTEK is out of Jersey, and The Vette Doctors is either out of Northern NJ or Southern NY (I forgot). However, most of them have pretty serious F-Bodies and Vettes (a Trans Am WS-6 with a 436 cubic inch V-8 that runs a 10.5, a 2002 Z06 with a heads/cam LS6 that runs a 10.6, a 383 with serious heads and cam that runs 10.4ish, etc.). I'm not sure if you're looking for pretty extreme performance, which is what most of them have.

 

Another vote for Bill (foff667 on all the boards). I've seen his work firsthand, and have never heard a complaint from one of his customers.

Bryan Herter (PCMforLess) is in this area and he did mine, but it's not been dyno tuned yet...

vette doctors is here on long island in amityville. you could also check out pitbull performance on long island we are setting up our dyno and eastside performance in conn. they do excellent work and are willing to work with you.
