i am in brook park on the west side of cleveland. i definately want in on the dyno tune as well. i am in the process of building up my 69Z28 with 383 bad a$$ short block and D1 with 15#'s. i'm in for norwalk or 42. probably prefer norwalk though.

secondly, sounds like we got a decent number of us in the cleveland area. i was gonna start a yahoo egroup message board for cleveland racers. watcha think. i did it in memphis when i lived there and it was a great local forum chat and gathering.

check out some of the progress on my Z here:

I was talking with the guys at the dyno shop a couple nights ago. Whenever you guys want to get a dyno tune, they will cut a good deal. I am trying to get some software in there to be able to actually monitor and possibly retune our older LT1's and newer LS1's.

I will keep you updated.

I'd be interested as well. It would be interesting to get in a couple dyno runs before I go mod crazy.

Grease, you don't even need mufflers. overated just like cats. Oh ya, about that camshaft. I will actually help you install mine. I'm looking at April or May though

I'm still debating whether to just do a Hotcam kit or a get a CC306. Looking everything up, the CC305 doesnt seem to be worth the money. Ported heads are in the future as well as a 3200 stall, just not sure when.

I am going to post this here because I just do not have time to ship to people, so I keep it local.

I have already promised my old 212/224, which was an excellant cam to Darkhorse. Very under rated cam there, especially for a n2o grind. Especially for $100. But if he backs out, great cam and I would let it go for the same $$$ to someone else.

I might (if I go solid roller) be letting my GTP-IV cam go (226/236), which is a nice cam also. Would take $200, paid almost $400 two years ago and 5000 miles ago.

I might (agian, if I go solid roller) be letting my AFR Hydra-Rev kit go with installation tool. I will take $150 for it. That is what I paid for it.

I will be selling my Optima battery(red top, top and side post) and battery relocation kit(Summit Racing brand), with a bunch of cabling. The relocation kit is a year old and the battery is about 6 months old. The battery sells for around $150, the kit is $45, the cabling is I had it lying around. I will take $100 for the bunch.

I also have an adjustable AFPR that came off the car(replaced before I figured out the fuel pump crapped on me). Never had a problem, whole unit. I bought a Hypertech AFPR for $150, would let this one go for $50.

EDIT - The guys I know personally will have dibs on this, even if I tell someone they can have it before they my buds tell me. Not being a *****, just my buds get first dibs. See why you should come to my cookouts..hehehe

A little off topic but has anyone ever noticed how North East Ohio threads take for even to die down. One simple question and our threads are on the first page for 6 months

Thats because we're better.

Haha. You guys enjoying the heat? It had to be at least 50 today down in Dayton (school). I was out with a sweat shirt on and it felt great. The only problem is that I know every day thats warm now means one more day thats going to be cold during the spring.

We were looking over some of the pricing of LT1/LS1_Edit last night. It is not bad for the ODB I cars, about $1K more for ODB II cars, but gets very expensive for the LS1 cars. The problem with the LS1 platform is you have to spend alot of money to cover those PCMs. You can look here to see what I mean....

http://carputing.tripod.com/LS1tunerorderform.html

Big chunk of change. Maybe if I could get some more interest and if people call the shop and ask, it might happen.

no doubt quite a pretty penny. however, most shops that tune the LS1/LT1 cars charge roughly $500 for a full dyno tune, so the money certainly will be paid back eventually. i can guarantee 100% im in for a dyno tune for my LS1 in april as long as its not crazy expensive...around the $500 range is plenty reasonable. another of my LS1 buddies i know will need it as well...actually the other guy that was with me with the red t/a when we met you up there last time. he is planning to s/c. im going to find as many LS1 guys that i can in this area and have them call and ask about LS1edit!
