I have to wait for the refrigerator repair guy to get here first. They are suppoded to be her 7:30 am.... then I'm of to the track. This is the 3rd time I have made an appointment to get Sears out to fix this thing. If they dont show by 8:00 im out of here and I am returning the fridge to sears on Sunday

I'll see ya there. Just got back from ATCO... lost it the finals. I had a bye run in the semi-finals and let her rip. Results 12.876 @108.12 on a 1.882 60'. There may be a little more in the beastie.

I may of spoken up too soon. Really crunched something on the 2-3 powershift today. Hitting gears under power is now a sometimes thing. Either the clutch is going and or I have a bent transmission fork. Sometime the shifter just crunched and refuses to go into gear, sometimes its ok, sometimes it goes from 2nd into 5th. A very bad thing to happen while bracket racing. I'm really thinking of converting to an auto, either turbo 350 or powerglide. So it looks like the car is done for this season.

I'm done for the year, someting in the clutch/trans is making real bad sounds. I hope it's just the clutch or T/O bearing, and not something in the trans itself.

So until string I'm stuck just bench racing.

hmmmm, wonder if this is just a coincidence or is it telling us something about the manual guys.... Sorry to hear it guys, This is probably my last time out for this year too. I just have to take advantage of the cool air and new tires. After this I will be concentrating on the garage till spring.

Manual but not for long. Turbo 350, manual valve body, reverse shift pattern, 3500 stall in the works. Car will be campained again next year

Cool Two for four

Nice weather, long lines...
The 97TA picked a 14.101 dialin and stayed with it all day; 14.106, 14.130, 14.129 and 14.175. Unfortunately it took awhile for the driver to "wake up" on the R/Ts; .770, .738, .607 and (finally) .546. So only the last two runs got me a win.

So that's it for me for the year. Time to get the black snowblower Zaino'ed and the drag chains on.....

When I pulled in a sw how big the TM lines were and decided to go t-n-t. I was more concerned with getting the car running right again. Results were 12.35, 1.38, 12.39 all at 108.5 with 1.68-1.69 short times. Something is definately wrong with it. Its off by .5 and 5 mph. I'm gonna try a couple things for next weekend and go run at Cecil. If its stil this way then the 3.73's go back in this winter. The 4.10's just might be too much for this heavy of a car.
