Anyone going to Maple Grove this weekend?Look forward to this race every year.There is no way to describe these cars,but to see them in person

 

I'm not going, but I will always refer to them as "Keystone Nationals". Also, WTF are they doing in August?

 

They moved them because the last couple of years the event has been dealing with rain in Sept.And I agree they should have kept the Keystone Nationals as the event name Toyo Nationals does't have the same ring.

 

I haven't kept up w/ it in awhile, but I remember about five years ago they had a ton of rain. I remember because I helped my parents move that day. I also remember that one year they had rescheduled in October and a lot of records were shattered and set. MG is fast when it's cool and the humidity is down.

 

I'll be there on Sunday with my brother. Can't wait!

Got to see a little racing.

Not a total loss though as I got a few good pics. as well as one with John Force!

NHRA saying racing will resume tomorrow at 10AM, but the weather looks worse than today. Hoping they will postpone 'til next weekend.

 

Went over on Monday still didn't finish the race,but got more in than on Sunday.Got to shake hands with John Force.
