Whoa, dude!!! Most awesome!!! There are some nice shots of the 97 TA and that's nice of the board displaying the track time and speed. That is cool!

NJ turnpike is always a pita until you clear the I95 exit. Then it opens up again. I gave up on it and just following a big rig. I can stop faster than they can and if there is a "problem" in front of the truck... they fair better whacking vehicle rear ends better than me. Plus not many people ride your azz when your behind a tractor trailer... they are all busy doing "near fender benders" in the left lane.

Anyways... since the DR's were mounted on the rear, I pulled the disgusting brake dust laden front wheels off and but the stock freashly clean rear tires on the front. Then cleaned up the the front rims. Touched up the paint on the Alternator bracket where it was chipped from all the removals and installs. It was nice to be outside and not shivering...

so ron you did end up with something eh? by your post i thought you eliminated yourself early.
I took out one Mustang, giving me one win and a trip to see the Trophy Lady. I always think it is a successful day when I can visit her.
On my second round of eliminations I red lighted.

Re: Time improvements...

For the second round there were 12 cars. One being me but I eliminated myself.
That would mean there were 6 for the third, three for the fourth and because that is an odd number, one of those cars would have a bye (determined by who had the best R/T in the previous round). The final round would have been the fifth one.

Hey Ron, how did the header gaskets hold up? I know you enjoy changing them every week.

Percy's "Seal-4-good" gasket.
Works as advertised. No more blow outs. Bolts are finally tight after a few weeks and are staying that way.

Um, your MPH is 13.x??? And after adding these parts you MPH is SLOWER??Is it me or does that seem a bit on the slow side?

he he he - just have to bust your butt on this type-O.....

OK, Nice gain, you cut 1/2 second. Now we need work on that dropping .4026 so your in the 12s!

afriggle schnarker pizzle fuggmumph....

You know what I meant, the time is lower which is a good thing 'cause I'm going faster, more mph. Why I put "average mph" in there for when I was talking about time... well... um.... oh, just leave me alone, will ya.

Re: Time improvements...

Congrats, James.

I saw you at the head of the staging lanes and was going to stop by, but got involved with the "ladder confusion" of the Mustangs versus F-bodies that ended up evaporating anyway.

Ron, THANK YOU!!! I'm glad to see you touched up the alternator! You should'a been ashamed to open the hood with the alt. looking the way it did! J/K

Just finished cleaning the SS from Sat. She's awaiting the next GTG

I knew you would bust on me for that. That's why I purposely put that "item" in your reply post.
Yeah, it was bothering me, but I didn't want to waste me time until the header bolts were seated once and for all and I didn't have to move the Alt anymore.

I'm looking at the next three Saturdays to be going back down to E-town. GM High Tech is this weekend. The next two are Trophy Marathons.
