No biggie, dude. Let me know when you want to "blow up" the other PC and get the virus off it.

NJSpeeder, Tim, warned me at my first time at the track, if I got the bug, it would consume me and my wallet. I don't think it would be a good idea to drive a real car and go fast... I would be needing to ask The Carol for a much, much bigger allowance.

Hehehe - Tim's famous advice to first time track-goers

Yea, I've been bitten by the bug too, and the only passes i've actually made at the track are in my 17 sec. beater. One of these days the camaro will be runnign and then I can make some real passes.

Ron I think I spoke too soon. went out and bought McAfee virus scan and load it on last night... all was cool. This morning while I was surfing the web at lightening speed, I figured let me just hit the MS website and download all the updates for XP. (since we didnt do that the other night) I did and they installed just fine. After they installed it wanted to restart the machine and thats when all hell broke loose. Dead in the water. Windows wont boot up. If I turn the machine on all i get is the Dell screen and then thats it... nothing but a black screen. I tried it a few times and hit F8 as it was turning on and I can get to the screen where you chosse safe mode and all that but it just locks up there. I'm thinking maybe the hard drive is dead... what do you think? At this point I couldnt even f-disk it and start over because it just locks up before I can give it any comand prompts.... For now i brought my work laptop in here so I can still surf the web with a blazing 28.8 connection, lol.

My other PC is just sitting in a pile right now. I was going to just f-disk that too when I found the time. Ive already coppied all the good **** off of it.

Not the hard drive, your just a victim of some of Billy Gates crap. I sent you a PM with a link that details two possible ways to get the WinXP going again. Basically you will be putting the CD in one of those drives and booting up off of that... and then either "R" for repairing... or just reload the program again to the D drive.
Anyways... didn't want to hijack this thread so check your PMs.

Why not try shooting for 30 to 50 cars at say 67 or 40 each?
Still very few, and surely everyone would get all the runs they would need..
I think that only 15 cars, would almost be a waste of the track facility [no one would be running much of the time?]
Also, a LOT more people would be in at say 50 or 60 each..
that would allow for a few no shows, etc also..
125 is a little stiff I think..
Even 60 people sat say 35 would be great..
Just my thoughts on it..

Ok looks like it will be only 15 cars. They only have enough workers to do up to 15 cars. That is why they don't allow more. There will be no one under the age 17 allowed. If you do bring someone under that age you will be asked to leave. I wish I could do it cheapper guys but that does not look like it is going to happen. It actually works out to be $134, but I told you $125 so that is what it will be. The rest will come out of my pocket. The date will be JUNE 29, 2004. this is all day. This will allow enough time for people to get there cars ready. Please contact me if you want to go. Email: Johnnyt77@comcast.net or my cell 215-828-2444

My friend should be contacting you soon. His name is Kevin and he needs to do some serious tuning on his new big block combo in his dragster.

Jackie, you used friend and dragster in the same sentence.
