Thumbs up Thanks 97TransAm

Just wanted to say thanks to Ron (97TransAm) for the help he gave me Saturday at E-town. It's Jason with the navy blue Z28.

Had a good time, won the first round when the 03 Cobra red-lighted.

Just wanted to say thanks for the help and concern you took when we thought something was wrong with my car.

Thanks again !!!

Doh, you let Ron give you advice! Hopefully it had nothing to do with Camaros or Firebirds!

Jason,
No problem, Dude. So glad it was nothing. Seemed like my day at the track to return a lot of favors to everyone else for a change; noticed a nasty spike out of one person's rear tire which was pulled and didn't leak, lent out the tire guage, help with dial-ins and shoe-polish... I've been on the receiving end many times before. I enjoy the brotherhood atmosphere. Never know it'll be my turn again.

...and I made it to E3 before I lost to a solid 'Tang right on his dail-in.

Hey!!! I thought it had one of them spark plug leaks like I had earlier in the week. You know, where I pulled the sensor out of the block by mistake and dumped cooling fluid on the 97TA's garage floor carpet.... duh! So if needed be, I had a gallon of spark fluid to help Jason with his leak...

Maybe catch ya's at E-town for the GM High tech July 12th?

Take it easy,
ron

E-town = Englishtown; Old Bridge Township "Raceway Park"
Yes, it's 1/4 mile track. Tends to be the place that some of us go. Exit 8 off the NJ-turnpike, East on rt31 for a bit... and then go cross country a ways....

The track is having GM High Tech Performance Magazine EFI Race Series II + Impala SS Cup Race on July 12th. Gates open at 9am. Elims start at 1:00pm.
