Anyone going other than Jim (kazman), the boyfriend and I?

 

Might go Sunday just to watch. The Z still isn't ready for the track

Is there different events each day? i might go sunday if i got time

 

I know the Nitro's run only Sat./Sun.

 

Not sure about everything that goes on other than the racing. There is a Friday race but the actual race for the weekend starts on Saturday (usually 1st round only) and then ends on Sunday.

I *think* the car show has 2 separate judgings - one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Not sure about the exhibition racing.

Remember when it used to be "Super Chevy Sunday?" Now it's a big huge ordeal and if you don't get there Thursday night to race, you're pitted in the middle of nowhere!

Don't worry Jim, we'll save you a spot!!!

I am heading down Sat, with a small group:
Frank from CPT (12scndz),
His cousin Tim, co-owner of CPT,
And a couple of friends and guys that have tranny's built by them.
Maybe 4-5 cars heading down..

I know Frank is bringing out the 70 Camaro for the car show..

BTW, I have never been there before, so not sure what to expect. I am with Kazman though, a Pontiac in the middle of all those bowties, will that be strange?
