Yo Scott... don't you run with DRs all the time? I think you ought to call out sick. You know, mental is an illness....

i dont have the dr's on right now, i killed the last pair and waiting to order my new wheels. moving up to 17x9.5 and 17x11. im reall picky on the dr too, trying to get the correct part number for bfg g-force with snakeskin pattern.

ironically ive been on sick leave for close to a year now for mental (brain damage) from sniffing too much gas fumes at work. been on open ended comp, i cant return to that field of work ever again which sucks because im a specialist in petroleum electronics and engineering. was helping the wife from time to time, but she drives me nuts. she works from home too so i cant avoid her. every now and then i help her father out, he owns a contracting company. so either im sitting on my azz doing nothing (90% of the time, but getting paid for it) or building houses (dont let me build yours) or selling parts to gov/military outlets like nasa for the wife

Ouch dude... you know I was being a smartazz on the sick thing, I didn't know it was a reality. Spring is coming... so you can start getting out and doing some stupid F-body stuff.

Anyways, I like to know how much "fun" it will be to mod the wheel well for the 17x11's. I had a thought of doing that, but I can't get past the wheel well modding with a sledge....

no biggie, i rant about the illness in the lounge. migraines, memory loss, and other good stuff. starting to get better tho.

as far as the wheels, im not like you guys, ill pay someone to put them on. i dont want to see or know how, just that it works. you guys have a ton more patience than i. not including tires, all four chrome z-06 wheels for $599. found them thanks to a link someone recently posted and removed

i went with that style for the easy cleaning between spokes. im lazy, what can i say!?!

btw ron, are you doing the atco day? (thread about renting the track out)
if it falls thru, i can get at least a dozen people, maybe you and ryan can get get some more and we'll take over the track for a day.

i know th eplace, but do they run an e-bay business from the same location called f-parts? havent gotten a response yet, but bought a monsoon speaker for the front last night from a place in bristol, f-body and vette salvage yard, and goes by the name f-parts. i dont have a phone number or address yet.

i keep going thru speakers with the loud exhaust cant hear the stereo over it on the highway so i turn it up and "poofff" garble and static

I wanted to but I haven't heard anything back...

But a few oddities for March;
The 97TA goes out of inspection on the last day of February. I can't get the car inspected until March 8th, the exact anniversary date of my last exempt emission test. State law requires that exempt emissions cannot be done a day sooner than one year... and one year it was messy out and I didn't want to get the car dirty. No I regret it every year.

March 10-11 I'm doing a network and server upgrade.

late march or april would be fine. i thought that law only applied to the first year of exemption? or is this your first year?. been two years in a row for me (3 years exempt) that i didnt bring it in on the exact or even near exact date for the inspection. i get passed every year anyway.

i might not have my mods on the car by the time we go to the track. i keep finding more and more goodies to pickup. i seen an awesome deal on a ls1 stroker crank and connecting rods for under the price of the crank alone. both new. so i dont want to pay twice to rip the engine apart, so i might only have the brakes and wheels done for our next meet, unless by miracle i get some extra cash for the rings, pistons and labor soon. and rbe still isnt setup for welding a rollbar in yet.

after all that, i will undoubtedly blow-up my tranny or rear and sit the rest of the season out. hoping for 10's by late summer. (n20, ds loop, 8-pt, 3600 tc)
