Call a lawyer, dude. If you try to take this on without help you are going to be handing the KY to the court. That much over the limit is usually considered extreme reckless driving, and they can slap you with a LOT of penalties.
This really sucks man ! ! I hope you don't get nailed!
FYI....the NJ speeding tickets are going up AGAIN and depending on where you get caught...the ticket can be alot higher than normal. They are targeting high accident/incident areas so they try to stop or lower the occurances in those areas.
Just be careful. You can get a ticket for leaving a stop too fast! It's pathetic IMO.
I mess around sometimes but for all out runs...I try to keep it at the track.

Man you guys need to invest in a good radar detector like the Passport 8500!
I haven't got a speeding ticket since I had mine in the car! Well once when I was driving someone elses car, but that don't count cause he didn't have the Passport!
I tell you man, jersey sucks **** when it comes to cops givin tickets but you just have to try to be a little more careful with the foot ya know.
Did you at least beat that Mustang or what??

I got busted once doing 105 in DE. They gave me a ticket for 95 in a 55. The cops told me to take defensive driving before I went to court which I did. In the end I got a hefty fine and 1 year probation. However, I wasn't racing.
But NJ always seems tougher. The fines are higher anyway. The fact that you were racing won't go over well in court. Get a lawyer, but all you can really do is pray for a lenient judge.
Good Luck

P.S. Dress and play nice in court. At least wear a tie, maybe a suit and act like you're a swell guy. Get a hair cut if you need it.
I've seen people roll up to court in a huge hooded sweatshirt and an even larger attitude. Judges are obviously straight-laced people and won't be impressed by a tough-guy attitude.
Check your pride at the door. Be prepared for the questions he's going to ask you and be truthful. And always use Sir or Ma'am. Just my 2 cents from seeing some people act like fools in there.

When you go to court be very polite my friend got caught doin 112 in a 55 when he got to court he was very polite and apologized alot and the judge let him off with just the fine no license suspension or anything and yes this was in NJ
Not a guarantee but it cant hurt to be nice to someone who holds your driving future in their hands.
