Nothing is a given...

With the way I'm driving lately you'll be in good shape cause I'll surely cut a .150 light or worse and most likely cross the center line at least twice

How tough is the track on running under 10.0 without a full, NHRA-certified cage, competition license?

On a TNT you might get by if just under, not if you go deep into the 9s, and only for that day, you won't be allowed back without the proper stuff. On a race day, they would tell you to slow the car down, and only tell you once!

So do I need to bring the trailer down?

We'll just put some of Ron's Jegg's stickers over all the emblems

Summit stickers are bigger and make the car go faster.

I will be there but not racing. My daughter wants to try drag racing. She has never raced before even on the street. This will be a great opportunity for first timers to go down the 1/4 mile. I will be on hand to give a short bracket racing class and to answer questions. The owner of the track has basically given John a free hand to run the event as he wishes. I hear the possibility of running a $10- 20 gamblers race and everyone should get a lot of passes. At most tracks your luckey to get 3-4 runs on a test and tune day. If you ever wanted to run you car on a dragstrip this is a golden opportunity.

I just want to make a few TNT runs myself. Last time I ran I only had exhaust and intake mods Now I have to try and launch on street tires with lots more power.

so you guys still going? I got an alignment done and I should be ready. Just got to put the new breather on and away I go.

My QTP friends tell me I should go to E-town on the 31st for the GM EFI event with them. I think I might make the 3 hr trip to no where land and see if you guys can help me go down the track for the first time in 3 years

Going down the track is real easy at Numidia. Just set your Garmin to magnetic north and stay straight. Oh, wait.... you don't have any luxuries in the car. Uh, I'll go first, when I'm about sixty feet from the stripe I'll put my four ways on for you to zero in on.... I would do it at seventy feet but I hate getting whooped.
