Im going straight up 75 I think if I dont stop home to get the trailer, so if anyone is along the way that'd be cool to hook up. The guys near the lake could take the turnpike straight to 75 and we could meet somewhere over there near the border of Oh/Mi.

Another cz28.com event that I'm gonna miss! This time its because of my damn knee though. Its been almost 6 weeks since I've driven my Camaro. Another summer without the Camaro down the drain. Out of the 4 summers I've had the car, 3 of them involved me not driving it for at least a month. Oh well, sorry I just needed to vent. If my knee is better by the time of nationals, I'd like to go.

 

I will go if I get my car running before then. My opti died after my cam install. Just got a new one today from Dal so hopefully it will work before the weekend is over. I need a new battery too. Grrrrrr.

 

Chuck, unfortunately, my car will be down... Goes back to merrick on monday for the new U joints, new Driveshaft, then tuesday i shoudl have my cam in at work, then we are installin it next saturday, the week after that it goes in to get repainted, then Ill have it back that saturday, which is the day that I go to Mr. Gasket to get my free clutch install... and the 315's slapped on the back... Its about time this POS gets out of the 13's... LOL!

Chuck, I should be able to go. I just finished fixing the car and turned out the coil went bad, not the opti. So I got her running and driving around. Only to find a gas leak right by where we welded the subframes. I have to look into that. Hopefully I fix that and can get a TC installed before I go. About 75% sure here.

Motors suck... we build this 400 some odd HP stang motor this weekend.. 5.0L pretty built up... put it in and get ready to go over and put the plugs n **** in and get ready to fire it up.... guess waht? No one ever checked the spark plug holes in the new heads... Yup.. werent tapped... Cant exactly tap them in the car so now we have to pull the f***in heads... AGAIN... ugh... cant WAIT to do mine (sarcasm...) jesus christ

 

Who the buys heads that dont have spark plug holes? Did the guy cast the heads himself, lol?

 

well the kid says they were just bare casts.. which means they ahve to be pnp/3 angled yet, and be tapped... i just did the wrenchin man... lol

 

Dont you usually put the plugs in before putting the heads on? Or at least just see how everythign goes together. lol Dumbass.

 

Normally, yah.. but his dad who has been a tech for god knows how long, said "Nah, we dont need to do that it will be fine.. you might break a plug puttin the headers on so lets wait" so naturlaly we didnt check cuz the mechanic guy said not to... hehe Oh well.. aitn my motor... Its all about.. Mind over matter... Aint Mine, Dont Matter
