It was fun, I got in about 10 runs. Ate some food, even had a dragster oil the track down and left at 10:00 so it was a good night. Only thing that improved was my reation times. Mark looks like he had a blast, sleeps at the light but he did beat me once. I was sleeping worse, cut a 1.6 R/T that time. O Well.

Maybe next week.

Well you guys missed a hella good time. It looks like monsoon season has resumed but it's supposed to be nice again on Wed. so we may head up there again for test and tune. My LT1 kept up with the mostly stock LS1's for the most part so I was happy. I took the car down the track a couple times last summer and I thought my mph was faster than what I was seeing yesterday, but maybe that's just my old age and loss of memory sinking in. My mph was 104 while Bret's was 108. My 3 best runs were all 13.5, my 60 foot times were all around 2.1 seconds on street tires and the car weighed about 300lbs. more than Bret's (didn't take anything out of it and it had a full tank o' gas) The car really needs a better tune and there's a couple other minor things I want to try, but the 355 solid roller project will be happening after summer so I don't have any major mods planned for the car this summer.

So Jason, I must have passed ya' on your way to Rochester. Thanks for the compliment I'm sure the Caprice was lookin' pimp as well One of these day's we'll all have to take our daily drivers to the track and have a good laugh, maybe at the end of the season.

I wanna make it next wednesday too. Im gonna try my best but its no guarentee with all the clumsy *** people in buffalo.

Im in for the daily driver race at the end of the season. My tempo is a street terror.

Bret: I was there Friday night helping my friend Jerry with his Mustang. You were there? Too bad I didn't know, we could have done some serious bench racing! My car is a week or so away from readiness. Waiting on a driveshaft and some wiring needs to be done. Then, we have to get it on the dyno.

Looks like it's going to be Friday this week. I'm going to try a few things while I wait for the DR's to come in.

Bret: I will be there Friday the 13th. My Mustang friends will be in the Mom's race and I may even have my car up and running. It is basically complete as of tonight, just waiting for the billet yoke CM DS (why go 1/2 way now!). As soon as the DS is in it goes on the dyno (Monday, with any luck), If there are no major problems (crosses fingers) it should only take a day to tune.

So, hopefully I will see you next week.
