NYIRP: August 1st

I am going out to run the car on Friday the 1st of August, no excuses! The new converter is in, I will be dynoing it this Saturday. No matter what (unless it blows up) I am going to try out this converter at the track. Don't expect anything too exciting, I don't think I am going to run the juice and I have never had much luck the first time out with a new combo. And I think this converter is still gonna be too lose and I will drive through it. But anyone who wants to come, I'd be glad to see you there.

Joe will probably have his 5.0 there. He ran a 9.58 at 140+ last time out with no boost in 4th gear. So he may provide some excitment if I don't. We will be parked in the paved "pro" pits, probably up near the starting line end if we get there early enough. Come and say "hi" and we can shoot the s**t for a while. I will bring some extra cigars, in case any of you wish to partake.

If I can get the night off I'll be there too. I need to see what my car runs with my new mods. I should be in the 12's now! I can't wait to see how it does.

I am hoping to have my car done by then. I just have to bolt the blower in, the intercooler, install the pump, gauges, plugs, headers... lol
