Exclamation Nyi Tomorrow

Ok guys tomorrow is the day.

Hoping for the best in weather.

If you want to ride up together let me know. I am getting up a little after 7am. My e-mail is giving me problems (bugs in the new pc actually) so I can't read or respond to that right now.

I think there are some people meeting at mighty taco on sheridan and eggart (not sure exactly I know it by sight more then anything).

Rich you are going right? Matt?

Can someone e_mail or call mark with the ws six and see if he wants to go? i do not have his info without my e_mail

Well, I left my car on the road just in case it's nice tommorrow. So as long as it's decent in the morning...and I can get my hungover *** up, I'll be there.

Phil,
I'd meet up w/ you, but it's easier/closer to just leave right from my house. I can make it there in less than 45 mins.

So hopefully I won't be tommorrow morning, and I see you all there.

Hey guys, what time does the track open on Sunday? I thought it was 1:00 but it looks like some of you are planning on getting there around 9am?

6AM: I am bundling up and going out to load up the car! This should be wild.

I think the track open at 9:30 with time trials at 10:30?

Jason,

No I don't think we have met. I just bought the car this summer and I have been doing a lot of work on it (it needed a lot of tlc) so I haven't really been driving it much lately. It's also my second car so usually I only drive it nights and weekends. I finally got the tuning issues figured out this weekend and I am going to keep the car insured over the winter so whenever the roads are clear I'll take it out.

It's a white Z with T-tops, 5 star ZR1 rims, red subframe connectors, clear corners, tinted windows, and one loud *** exhaust Hell, I'll e-mail you a pic.

I was going to take it to NYI today but my buddies that were supposed to go w/ me backed out. I didn't want to take the chance on breaking something and not having a ride back home.
Where's your sig? Just wanted to know what you have in your car. We should meet up sometime just to bull**** about cars. Also, I plan on eventually putting a 12 bolt in mine and since you're in the process right now maybe you could give me some pointers.

It was good to see the guys who showed up. I was the first person at the track, got to have the number "1" on my car, which was kind of novel. The track was slippery and I had a high rpm miss (probably plug wires again) but I did hit the tens and called it a day after that.

Looking forward to next year, time to get serious about winter mods. Sorry Jason couldn't make it - I would have like to have seen his car in the cool air using my ET Streets.

Phil - thanks for the jump start, even though the volts were supplied by a F**d . I ran my battery down using the bottle warmer.

Looks like I picked a poor day to miss the track I hear it was not crowded at all....probably could have hit 126-127mph NA today. Oh well

I too am going to get serious for next year....12 bolt is in, and I have decided to do a vic jr. intake manifold, some fine tuning, and a fogger (~200). I think that I am going to try for 9s.

Next year is going to be fun

On a side note, Rich and all the Buffalo guys (Matt and Phil already know), but we are going to have a dinner get together in Buffalo on Saturday November 23rd. Hope everyone can make it! Look for a post in the next couple days about it...just finalizing things now. Oh yeah, and we are looking to race some go-carts before dinner I have a B-Lo local (Matt) checking into that for us!

Sure was a good day. I got a new best mph and ET in one run

Backed up the mph with a couple more very close.

Was ice cold and we all got as many runs as we wanted. 20+ then we left early.

I was number 7

I just had some acura integra try to race me on nigara falls blvd He was revving at me...must have been my number.

My new best is: 13.248@104.26 with a 1.9 short time. As long as I get it to hook up right she can typically do pretty decent I think. Time slips said it was a bit warmer then last year at 42 degrees, and 81% humidity.

Thanks matt.

Rich,

Do you know if Bob Kennedy is still using his dyno this month? If possible I may put my truck on the dyno again and get some pictures and video of it up there.

I had been wanting to get it done again with more miles on the engine.
