Great run Phil. I was the guy you beat on your best run. I can honestly say I was humbled getting beat by a truck. No doubt about it, that is one fast machine.
It was a horrible day for me. Both my ET's and trap speeds were way off. I figured trap would be even or a little lower than normal because I turned down the boost a little a few weeks ago to reduce power and get better traction on the street (usually run @ 5psi and was aiming for 4, but I'm not sure because I don't have a boost gauge), but was hoping the cold air would help out. Traction was terrible on street tires. It was spinning in the first three gears. I tried short shifting and pedalling it, but I just couldn't find a good way to get the car down the track.
Anyway, good run. Maybe I'll have something for you next year
It was also cool to see a bunch of fast F-bodies and not just your normal run of the mill stuff.

I know how you feel. I actually grew about 20 minutes from Jamestown. I run at New York International Raceway Park (NYIRP). You can go to their website to find out more info. www.nyirp.com
It is located in Leicester, NY. Which is about 2 hours, depending on which way you go, North East of you.

Ws-6,

Thanks....was that you in the vert WS-6?

You ran some low 12s high 11s didn't you?

I was just behind you on a run and saw some smoke poof out and I think you shut down. I thought maybe something broke. I had no idea you were running boost. That blower is quiet

I was there with the sunset orange 02, and two other black ws-6s.

I wish I had a way to drop about 1k pounds off this thing I was going to take my spare out but never did.

Rich,

Do you know if Bob Kennedy is still using his dyno this month? If possible I may put my truck on the dyno again and get some pictures and video of it up there.

I had been wanting to get it done again with more miles on the engine.
Bob runs the dyno all winter. He is more inclined toward tuning vs. just testing and charges $125/h since he runs it. Steep, but worth it if you get advice/tuning vs. just a number.

Rich,

No not really looking for tuning. I just want to get some updated hp and tq numbers. He did it last time. He was impressed with the numbers.

I have updated my numbers (1/4) on the L board and looks like I am the fastest stock L listed Not by much.

Phil
My car is a t-top. It usually runs high 11's, low 12's in full street trim, but I didn't even come close to that Sunday.
I'm running twin turbos, which is why the "blower" was so quiet.
The plume of smoke you saw happens when I let off at high rpm. I guess the TT Stealths and 3000 GT's also have this problem. It has something to do with the PCV valve not working properly and the pressure in the crank case. Anyway, nothing blew up, I just need to get a Krank Vent on the car.
