Post NYI Fri Sept6

Well, I was planning on going this friday, but there is no test and tune (30th). So, looks like I am going to the track next friday (sept 6) as long as the weather is decent if anyone wants to go.

Ill see if I have to work, if not ill defenitly be there.

Jason those injectors you sold me are fubared I guess. I had them to tune at Kennedy's and he couldnt a good A/F. He said no matter what injector constant he used the car was acting weird. He said the car was sputtering, stuttering, and sounded like $hit. The car seemed to like my current program better altough it ran super rich....I know this is a really stupid question but are you sure those were 30 lb SVO's, he said they were the wrong color to be 30's..

Dave can you bring your laptop and autotap on the trip???? I wanna log some stuff so I can tune my shift points a little..I figure with Rich and Jason there I can get alot of work done.

Hey Matt, dont know what to say about the injectors. I had them cleaned and flowed before I used them in my car and mine ran fine (355ci, solid roller). Also, I am 100% certian they are SVO 30# injectors....dont know what Bob told you, but the "red" tops are definatly the 30s. We can talk more about it at the BBQ....I definatly wouldnt sell something that I knew was not in perfect shape.

I will come (with two full bottles!) on the 6th. Where do people plan to pit?

Rich, I pit over on the left side of the track (looking down the track) right behind the bleachers there in the gravel parking lot. I have always found that to be the most convienent spot for cooling the car (shade), as well as ease of access to the staging lanes and to the bleachers for watching.

Jason: I am hoping to see you there! In any case, I'll see you at the BBQ. If it's raining I'll drive the truck down and pick up the block. But I hope to drive the "Z" and take you up on your offer to bring up the block at a later date.

Rich
