If your looking for a GOOD A4 trans Rebuild= Level 10. They are up near Vernon Vally Great George. This is not your average shop- people from all over the country send Tranny's to them!! They speailize in performance overdrive tranny's. They have very good pricing. If you go to English Town Raceway Park, You can get there # off the Tower. If not look them up. They are miles ahead of any other company in the Tri-State area. Just My 2 Cents.

where is Frank C, i think 12scndz was his name, i havent seen him post in along time, I'd drive my way up there if he was around and i wont get shot.

 

Well I just went on Level 10's website- WOW have there prices gone up!!!! I might call that Frank C person first. Level 10 does outstanding work, but I had not had anything done there in a few years and they use to be alot cheaper. I think that I paid $950 for then to do my 700R4( a few years ago ), but when I looked on there web site it said $2800 + $800 core for the 460LE. That is alot- even if they do good work. But if this Frank C can build yours for $850 and it can hold up to the 10's I would go for it.

 

Frank is still around, hes been kinda missing in action from the board lately but hes still out there. I would recommend him. My trans is still stock, but when it goes he will be doing it. Not sure of the price though. I know he can do it alot cheaper than most but I'm not sure about $850... That sound low to me. I'll try to find you his number and post back if I do.

 

I know my trans is starting to go........slowly but surely, taking it easy on her for now to stretch its life. Let me know if you find Frank....
