Nitrous in Cop Cars in NY????

This rumor has been going around my area for a while now. Just wanna know if there is any validity to it. Some say its true and some say it isnt. A couple Highway police have a couple Zs so I suppose they could.

Thanks everyone,

I would highly doubt it, would be a good waste of tax dollars though.

People always say that. Heck, I have roommates here in college that say the police impalas have LS1, superchargers, an n20 . People always think police cars are so fast and special. Just look up the B4C option on the Camaro and see how different it is.

BTW: I drove a NY state police B4C camaro a year or so back, I didn't see any nitrous in it. I have heard from a friend (who is Texas DPS) and he tells me that a few of their B4Cs are spraying. He's getting me pics of it

if ur willing to put up my bail money, i will blow past the camaro cop car that is always parked on the highway near my house, and if he catches me, then we'll know for sure

even w/ nitrous those cars are so heavy with all the police equipment and the auto, any decenty fast car would rip em top end

Yah Jason thats what I figured.... It would be a pretty good incentive to become a cop though ....... As for the B4C camaros I know that they are really not that much different than stock therefore = Slow... It would be damn cool though if a department would throw massive amounts of money at a car as many people do here. It would be kinda cool to get pulled over by a low 10sec sleeper. Sorta...

ALSO- Got-LT1 send me some pics after your friends get them to ya. Thanks man.. Gonewiththewindfarm@hotmail.com

Thanks guys,
