Hi guys is me Brian Flick! Congrats on the great numbers guys Waswa damn sweet numbers! If I remember you still have your ten bolt but you added 4.11s, right? Thats pretty damn good for a LT1. I need to watch this board more often. Had I seen this I would have brought my cars down there. I would like to get a baseline on my 1998 Z28 A4 and the 2000 Ws6 M6 before I mod them. My 1999 SS M6 was dynoed in PA when Rapid Motorsports installed the H/C. Mikey @ Rapid uses a local dyno shop not to far from his shop. I don't rfemember the name of the dyno shop. I will check www.ls1tech.com tomorrow and get the name(someone posted it). His dynois a conservative dyno. There is another dyno shop a bit further away and the one Mikey uses is about 10-15RWHP/RWTQ lower then the other. Mikey has installed several Cartek, MTI and MMS packages and the dyno he uses is about 10-20RWHP/RWTQ off, on the conservative side. Also my SS has a Moser 12 bolt. There was a dicussion about the parasidic loss from the 12 bolt compared to the OEM 10 bolt. Several tuner shops chimed in and claimed the 12 bolt(moser) eats about 8-12RWHP/RWTQ. I also have 4.10 gears, which are know to cause about a 7-10RWHP/RWTQ decrease. Prior to loading the SS onto the trailer to take it to Rapid I filled the fuel tank with Sunoco 94 completely fuel, so Mike could drive it when he needed to. The SS was dynoed with a completely full tank of gas. When I took the car to Rapid it was about this time and it was snowing a bit and my stock silver SS(ZR1) rims with the OEM 275 F1 tires were almost bald so I swapped my AFS chrome ZR1s on. The chromies have all brand new BFG Comp T/A ZRs. The AFS rims are 17x9.5 w/ 275-40-17 & 17x11 w/315-35-17 tires. If I had to guess I would say the SS with a full tank and those rims/tires weighsabout 3700lbs or so without a driver. Mike@Rapid is a straight shooter. He doesn't bull**** or use any dyno tricks...what you got is what you got. MY SS dynoed 414RWHP and 387RWTQ. If you take out the negatives I mentioned about: 12 bolt, gears, conservative dyno, weight and tire resistance= 445-460RWHP and 417-432RWTQ You all need to come up to Annibells this sprin/summer and meet us. My fiance and I started a car club about 5 years ago called Scorpion Racing( we are not affiliated at all with Scorpion Racing Engine Builders). We have quite a few members too. We have:

1998 SS M6 black Cartek clutch, H/C long tube headers, Nos 5177 nitrous kit 12.2 @110mph n/a and 11.0x N2O

I would like to get a lot more members this year. We have fun together. I would like to rent a drag strip this season. I checked into renting Thompson Drag Raceway lat year but we didn't get around to it. If I remember right, it was about $800 for like 4-5 hours. I think we may try to rent Norwalk this year. The couple who has the LT4 vette does autox too. We may try to get a group event to go autoxing. We are going to meet up at like Squires Castle, get a professional, and get some really good pictures and some group photos.

Waswa thanks for the torq arm. I am going to pull my trans within the next month and drive up to Michigan and drop it off to D&D performance for tje rebuild. I am upgrading to Spohn adjustable torq arm. I can give you your's back when I pull my trans if you want it. I can also buy it from you, give me a price if you want to. BTW WASWA remember that 5.0 at Summit when I met you down there to pick up the TQ arm. I don't know if I told you or not but we tore him up!

Gary are you still interested in joining Scorpion Racing? You have a badass car too! I don't know the other guys on this here board but hey guys please come out and meet us all. Our only stipulation to be able to join was you had to be able to run a 1/4 at 14.5 or faster. We have discussed lowering the 14.5 rule but nothing has beed etched in stone yet.

Let me know if anyone you are interested.

Brian
