Moving, how to send my car

Moving to florida end of the month and i was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with car transporters in the past. i'd like to have it in a covered trailer if possible. whos out there that i should look into?

i'm trying not to spend a fortune but want good service. and dont want my car damaged.

It's my 97 ss with body kit and about 3" ground clearence underneath

Re: Moving, how to send my car

I've had two cars moved using "Tn'T", including moving my Formula from Los Angeles to NJ. You take the car to a rail yard. They do a VERY thorough inventory of the condition of the car and both parties sign to indicate that it is accurate. They immediately drive it into a closed carrier on a rail car (2 cars fit in one carrier, so it will not by the only car in the container). The rail car gets dropped at the yard nearest your desitination, they take it out and you drive it away. No one drives your car other than to get it into the closed carrier. They also offer door-to-door, where they pick up the car at your house and deliver it to your new location.

I was very satisfied with their service both times. Cost for the Formula was bout $700, but that was 11 years ago.

Find someone coming (trustworthy) from Florida on the Power Tour with a trailer... See if you can pay them to take it back...
