Maple Grove this Sat 11/6 anyone?

This is the last T&T day at the Grove this season and the weather is looking much better this week, temps should be in the 40's and no rain in the picture. I havn't run the car since "beefing up" the drivetrain a bit this summer. I've added the Moser 9", Spec 4 clutch and a Spohn body mounted TA. It should be ready for some serious launches now, can't wait to try it out

Maybe, I just finished putting the trans in and I still need to break everything in. I guess it depends on if I get it off the jackstands anytime soon!

Do you happen to know the hours? I was planning on going but now I have to drive to Allentown to pick up car parts for my wife's deer hunting VW. If I can be back in enough time I will be there.

Their Saturday grudge racing/t&t times are usually from 9-4. Gates open at 9 for check in then racing starts at 10. If it's anything like the last few years it will probably be pretty crowded since its the last race day for the season. Hope to see you all there!

Thanks. I'm going to try to make it after noon for a few runs...hopefully. If not, have fun and post some pics and times for those who couldn't make it.

well it doesn't look good I am not driving this in the rain and I am not getting enough time to break everything in because of the rain! I would love to seee how it does but I don't want to risk messing something up!

Re: Maple Grove this Sat 11/6 anyone?

Compuvision, I saw your car there but we werent in line together, I dont think I got to talk to you. I only got 3 runs in, I've never seen it so crowded. It was really tough to get the feel of the new setup waiting 1 hour or so between each run. Anyway, first two runs since the drivetrain changes I ran 12.6x at 111mph with some crappy 60' times, a 2.0x and a 1.9x. I realized after that I had too much air in the right rear air bag I just installed, it was my first time using it. I lowered the pressure in it and had a much better run of a 12.36 @112 & a 1.78 60. I was a little bummed about running slower than I did after switching from the 10 bolt w/4:10's, I ran 2/10's quicker with the old setup. The only think that improved was my 60', I've never hit better than a 1.8 before. I knew the 9" with 3:89's was going to hurt my times though but at least I never have to worry about it breaking on me now. Now I just need some more power to make up for it.
