I'm looking at getting my motor done and was wondering if anyone had any info on any places in the area that are good and know f bodies in and out. I'm looking for a place that will take care of my car like i like too. A decent price would be nice also hehe. Lets hear any stories, thanks

Second Street Speed, Perkasie PA. Meets all your requirements except "decent price". They did all the engine and drivetrain work on my Formula several years ago, and I use them for tuning. There work is excellent, they baby your car (in all the times its been in the shop, it has never had a scratch of any fingerprints on it!!), and they know the LT1's very well. Tend to be very busy, and a bit pricey, but to me the quality of their work is worth it.

Nope id love to in a way but i have no where to do it nor the compete experience to do it. I think i could do it prob but would need to take tons of time and need to have a garage and everything so im looking to get it all done at a shop. I thought about buying a block with heads and all and taking that apart and sending it off to get everything done then having it put together and in which would be faster and cheaper but i dont know if i want to buy a motor and pray its good enough to build up lol.

Hmm sounds good. I'm just looknig to do a 355 with either just forged pistons or completely forged with a le2 package. Mind if i ask whats pricey to you ? By me asking decent price im not trying to find the cheapest way out by any means. But i dont want or think its worth 10k+ for me to build my motor just for a street car you know
