Ok here is the deal, the dealer or stealer in my area wants $900.00 to put in a new stock clutch in my 95z.Is that about right
or can I get it done for less in the Lancaster Pa. area?

Couple of other questions, how many miles should I be able to
get out of a stock clutch-I really only drive it to work anymore
but I do drive it like I stole it most of the time. 24 miles a day,
all back roads.

Would I be better off with something other then the stock clutch
and if so what?

Last clutch only lasted about 2 years, the price was what it cost
me 2 years ago,and included everthing parts and labor and was
done in one day.

It just seems to me I should be getting more miles out of a clutch.
I thought it may be the way I drive it but I drive my other car the
same way and about 30k miles a year.
Thanks Mike

Hey u guys have been a ton of help,I found a local guy says
he can do it for $400.00 cash and show me how to do it to boot.

I would luv to be able to do all the work on my car-but laying out
in front of the house in the gutter just don't cut it.

thanks again.

Hey dig...curious about who you found to do the work. I work in Mt Joy, think I've seen you up and down 283 here? Anyway, I have some exhaust work to do, and I don't like laying in gravel on my back either.
Thanks
