Yeah, those cars you are pictured with a posers. THat track in Owego isn't that bad, friday night is test and tune night. You should stop up there to race, it's only 1/8 mile but at least its a track. That ZX2 is Ryans car right? Small world ehh, who knew there were other locals around here?

Hey whats up... Yea I'm friends with Ryan, and Brendan, thier little group... I'm kinda in a different thing than them though... Not really into the whole put money into your 4-cyl. thing... I'll stick to my v-8... Do you go down to the Home Depot parking lot, where they go to hang out??? I've been there once... If you go, and see a little red/silver Zx2 (Ryan's car) I'll be around with him, if not ask him about Lex, have him give me a call or something... Would be nice to meet up or something with the Camaros... I still dont have mine back, but soon I'm hoping... If you have aim im MissBandette!!!

Yeah, those kids are alright really. I just think its kinda funny that they put sooooo much money in there cars and still get spanked by good ol' fashioned american cars, but to each his own I guess. I haven't been down to The Depot yet this year but I go down there once and a while to check out the cars for a few minutes, I never park with the nice cars tho....just with the spectators. lol. I'lll Im you if your ever online when I am around or ask Brendan about you sometime, i see him more than I see Ryan.

Nice car, yeah it'd be cool to know some other people with F-bods up here. Doesn't seem like there are too many around.

I am in the Binghamton area now too, but now longer own my Z28. (89385formula now does). As far as tracks nearby, where I went to school there was a pretty decent track lke 20 minutes from there called Lebanon Valley. Its a quarter mile track rather than the eighth mile one in Owego. Its about 2 hours from here so its not too bad, plus I go back to that area every weekend anyway.

I live near the Corning, NY area. Not too far from Watkins Glen International. MissBandette, I added you to my aim, hope it was alright. My aim is Ynggun2k1...and my yim is Maverick_98Z. Anyone else from Upstate NY add me too and I will likewise. Hopefully we all can meet up some weekend.

Re: It's been awhile

Brendan and them insist his Tibur-Accent will kill my Camaro, along with Ryans ZX2... Mike's dad just got a Caprice that was "converted to an Impala SS"... I personally think its like putting Iroc stickers on my Camaro, and wouldn't do it.. It's the Lingenfelter Edition, an x-cop car... They claim it has 450 hp... I rode in it, I'm not one to be "my car is faster than yours" but I honestly think they all need a dose of real hp, not names of motors or parts that you pay for...They have this little site together I guess it's supposed to be a carclub, TeamShameless... I'm not knocking them, Ryan is one of my good friends, but when it says "Team Shameless, old people hate us", thats not very respectable... I'm just on a different level, and I dont think any of them see eye to eye with me... I've also grown up a bit since I'm expecting a baby within the next few weeks... As soon as everything calms down we should all hit the track together, I want to get some times on my 350 before my 5-speed swap this winter...

HAHAHHAHAHAHA, yeah like I said the kids are alright but i really think they are outta there league. Team Shameless..lol. Maybe Ryan's car would be fast if he emptied the 2 ton of stereo and other worthless crap out of his car. When you are ready to do some more mods, i would be glad to throw some ideas your way....I too was modding a TPI thirdgen for a bit. Also i would love to give those guys a reality check....its would be an honor! lol. I really get a kick out of some of the stuff they say....let me show you one quote I saw yesterday from Josh..with the CRX....."....UPDATE (Feb 10th) The engines going to the machine shop for some bottom end work and as soon as its out you mullet camaro and mustang ****s are getting a piece. oh yeah you monte carlo ****ers can have some too...HAHAHHAHAHHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHHA...wow... .I laugh so hard when people say stuff like that!!

Re: It's been awhile

Me and that Josh got into it really bad, about his CRX... I just dont know what they think... Ryan Doesn't have a system in his car anymore, and he's running nitrous... There's a link off the shameless site to him racing the Caprice (I refuse to call it Impala)... The kid recording goes "corvette motor" talking about the Caprice... Yea, that and every other 350... Some of them really make me wonder... I hate to sit here and bash them, they do what they can with what they have... They're young yet, they'll see the light someday... All the money they put into some of them cars, they could have a real car with a supercharger and be done...

Re: It's been awhile

I agree with everything you two are saying as i too went to school with Brenden and all his other turd friends. They really are all posers though like Dusty and all his other buddys. But oh well I guess everyones into there own thing. I just wish they wouldnt go around bragging about beating cars like a caprice classic that had what 250 hp stock in a car that wieghs over 2 tons? Ya i would be really bragging. And also it bugs me that they drive around and give all us young kids bad names because they have no respect for other people and dont know when its the right time to race and mess around. Thats they way 95% of those import dorks are. They drive around without a care for anyone else on the road and the older generation looks at all of us and thinks we're like that. But oh well thats life I guess for every one normal person theres 10 idiots out there. Ya mabey one of these days we will run into each other down to Home Depot or something. I got a white 2002 Z28 so if you see it stop over and say hi.

Re: It's been awhile

You guys are good for me, makes me remember back when I was young! The best track in WNY is New York International http://www.nyirp.com/ Friday night is "test and tune". When the weather is nice there are a lot of cars of all types there - from imports to serious race cars and a few fast street cars. There is bracket racing on Saturdays (Sunday in the fall) which has the more serious racers but also lot's of people out for testing and just for a chance to run their cars (or bikes, or sleds). Nice bunch of people, in general.
