I need a good emmisons shop in central NJ
Well the Z28 failed emmisons agian, I seem to have a cronic problem on my hands. The car has ran rich since the day I bought it. I've covered all the bases. I'm not sure what to do next. I'm considering giving in and taking it to an expert, but I need a place that knows LT1's. Any recomendations?
emmisions is a nightmare in jersey, are you stock? mods? if so which ones? if your stock and having those problems id send ya to freehold chevy on rt 9 near the freehold mall...my uncle runs the service department and there pretty squared away there, they know there ****, unlike alot of GM service departments believe it or not, when it comes to camaros very few know there stuff....just ask for Bill...tell em Ant his nephew sent ya sent ya, hell take care of ya..

Thanks ant, I live in Howell so thats not to far from me. I'll have to give them a call.
The car was stock when i bought it 3 years ago, since then it was modded with full exhaust, heads/cam and a lot of bolt ons, now its back to almost stock condtition, i still have the headers and catback.
I'm gonna play with it for a few more days i think.

What are your emissions numbers? Saying it failed doesn't help explain what part is out of tune. I used to run a Powerdyne supercharger, SLP chip, Jacobs ignition, SVO injectors, Borla y-pipe, 3" random cat and Flowmaster cat-back on my old 93 Z28 Indy Pace Car and it passed emissions with no custom programming. If you're running rich or lean, you need to find out why. But it depends on what your numbers are.
