I completely forgot about the fact that is was already the last thursday of the month. So I need to clean up the truck after work and head over to Hooters. Should be a good turnout with this nice weather.

 

Wow, what a huge turnout last night. They even had a dyno set up. $50 for 2 pulls, $75 for 3 pulls. I heard that the Vortech supercharged Mustang pulled 900 rwhp and had to lift because the dyno was only setup to handle 7500 rpm's and it was still climbing. Great weather and bunch of nice cars/trucks. Can't wait until next month, I hope they have the dyno again.

 

We ended up going to Atco last night for the Quick 8 race. It's interesting to watch them run but it takes forever for them to actually run. I think the track starter could run 100 bracket cars down the track in the same amount of time it takes to run 10-20 Quick 8 cars.

 

I am out of the loop on the different nights in the area...what are some of the upcoming dates...anything at hooters in bensalem?

The Hooters in Bensalem sponsors "Race Night" on the last Thursday of every month. There's cars, beer, wings and b00bies.

Atco also holds the Quick 8 race on the last Thursday of every month. It's heads up racing on 10.5 inch tires and the cut off is usually around mid-8's. Last week the fastest pass was a 7.4X.

I don't know what else is out there. The Red Robin by Oxford Valley mall used to hold some sort of car show one night a month as did ABC Auto Parts in Bristol but I don't know if they still do and what night it would be.
