Exclamation Help! Anyone know an honest mechanic around NJ?

Hey guys! I'm almost done with my V6 to LS1 swap. I have a 1994 camaro and bought 1998 donor parts for it. Everything has been installed and car does starts... but alternator doesn't charge the battery. I'm missing the alternator plug and dont know where the alternator wires connects. I have both 94 and 98 shop manuals (7 thick books total) and not one has a diagram for the alternator. I stopped working on the car for almost a year now because my work got so damn busy! I need to know if anyone here knows a good mechanic with electrical experience that wont charge me an arm and a leg. All the car needs is for the alternator to be connected to the engine harness and charge my battery I need help guys. I'm willing to tow the car anywhere in northern or central jersey. Thanks!

2MCHPWR, I did met you on they way to the track. I was with my bud in his 2000 Sunset Orange SS. How's everything? Thanks for the info! I really want to get this swap over with. Hopefully by the end of October. I'll try that number you gave me but let me ask Tom Richdale first.

Hey Tom. I'll shoot you an e-mail regarding my swap. A buddy of mine said it should be a lot of work though he cant help me out 'coz he's out of the country. I'll also take some pics of how everything looks at the moment... maybe some mpeg too.

Thanks guys!

Stage 1 on Route 23N is a good place. Give them a call. They did a great job on my gears and were really easy to work with.

East Coast Supercharging in Cream Ridge New Jersey, they used to be located in Montclair, New Jersey but moved to a new, bigger, better facility. They have a dyno and do AMAZING work. Talk to Chris or Doug there, tell'em Nick sent ya :-D you wont be disapointed. Ask Doug about his Lt1 Z28 if you call him :-D
