Halloween @ Cayuga?

Rained out big time at NYI today, but I am pretty desperate to get the car to the strip once more. I can't go to NYI this Sunday, but Cayuga is supposed to be open for TnT on Friday the 31st. The weather is looking good, fairly warm. At this point, I plan to go up. Anyone else? If you don't want to run, maybe you want to ride up with me? I don't plan on more than 2-3 runs, and if all goes well they will kick me off the track after the first one

When you know what time you are going to cayuga let me know. I might be able to go up if it's not to late.

They start running at 7pm, I was thinking of leaving at about 5pm to get there early, get in a couple of runs and go home. I will post as the week progresses.

I was thinking 4:30-4:45. I haven't been there for years, but it should be about 1.5 hours driving time, right? Plus time at the border. I'd like to get there by 6:30 or so and have some time to unload the car, get it warmed up, and put my race face on before it gets late.

I will call them later today to try to verify that they will be running. Their web site indicates they will, but I want to be sure before getting my hope up.

Steve: I will PM you my pager/phone, care to do the same?

Depending how my car turns out on the dyno tomorrow, I'll head up there with you guys. Where are you going to meet?

I just called the track. At this point they are planning TnT for Friday, depending on the weather. They recommended caling Friday to be sure before heading up.

We could meet at my house, but if I am going to go, I do plan to leave no later than 4:45-5pm, no waiting for stragglers!

Rich do you think you will be back home around 10:00 - 10:30ish? I would like to go if I could be back at a decent time. I'm done with classes at noon so there is no problem for me to be ready by 4:45. BTW how close are you to UB North Campus?

I am ~5 min from North Campus. I am planning on 3 runs max, so getting back at 10:30pm is probably right on.

Have fun guys

Neil who runs Cayuga is cheap. Don't expect any glue. It will be slippery but maybe you will all get lucky. I hope so. If it was my car I would stay home. Good luck to all.

Yeah, but it's my last chance for the year.
