Great day to learn drifting...

I'm thinking of taking the 97 TA out to a parking lot today and practice this "drifting" thing. Six+ inches of snow is just perfect for those 3:42 gears to get the back end going...

Ed, you want to meet up at Council Rock school and practice with me? I think Bob's corvette would be choice, you know what I mean. Bahahahaha.

Hey Ron

Not a bad idea...and an even better idea, using Bob's Vette! Too bad I can't find the keys.

Maybe a little 4-wheeling in the Jeep later!

Taking a rest...cleared the driveway and 2 of the neighbors.

Yeah... Bob's vette better; more horse power with wide and low profile.

I practiced some earlier in the Tahoe... but it leans a little too much for my taste.

I cleared three other neighbors driveway and walks. One already gave me a case of beer a week ago. ... and yes the snowblower is black.

Re: Great day to learn drifting...

you two are crazy
Ron just admit it, i know you want to buy a Nissian 240Sx and get into the whole drifting scene, then eventually down the line your gonna sell the T/a, and we'll never see you on this site again

Re: Great day to learn drifting...

I can't do a nissian 240sx scene because the domain is already taken.... bahahahahaha.

Yeah (embarassed) I put a couple of coats of zaino on the black MTD Gold Series snow thrower. The snow and ice slip right off the shroud... yeah... that's why I did it... so the snow slips right off it. I'm thinking of mod'ing the round lamp to some PIAA 1700Xs and doing a K&N. Maybe a long tube and no cats, but I have to see how money is after the holidays...

Re: Great day to learn drifting...

Bahahahahahaha... Yeah, yeah, now that's a snow blower!!!

Ed, if you do full engine rebuild like that, you'll have to subframe connectors and sway bars so that the tractor doesn't "roll" in the turn from the doing, like, 40mph while mowing....

Ryan... the shot would be good for those long sidewalk runs. But I will have to mod out some wheelie bars on the blower for me to stand on. I might find it hard to keep up with the blower...

Somehow I can picture Ron doing a Tim Taylor impression. Ron is in front of the house, snowblower running with a nice rump-a-rump-a idle: Ron's in full race gear, jacket, helmet ( helmet shinning from the 50+ coats of Zanio.) he lowers the shield, purges the system, hits the nitris button............

And all the neighbors standing in their doorways as the watch a snowblower that keeps going by their houses at 75MPH as it drags Ron.

Re: Great day to learn drifting...

No need for Wheelie bars, Just wear Roller Blades behind the thing and then you can wear the 10lb N20 bottle on your back so ya look like rocket man or something when ur neighbors see ya
Then just setup some Purge Lines for when ur neighbor talks smack

Kind of like this...

Then after Ron gets done Snow blowing, he goes inside to see....
