Just plan on being in Buffalo at 4pm on the 20th Vince

The details are not set in stone, but the date (20th) and time (4pm) are!

I think Matt is supposed to set it up. I would just like to get some good food at a nicer place with some Holiday atmosphere like you

We'll keep this thread updated as we know.
Thanks, Jason

Sounds like a good plan. Where the heck is this Bob Evans? I haven't been there yet.

Thanks

Vince,
I did a quick search on yahoo to get the driving directions for ya. It's pretty hard to miss, as soon as you get off the I90 at Depew, you make a left onto Transit Rd. and a quick right into Bob Evan's Restaurant.

Driving directions from Toronto, ON to Bob Evans

Yeah Vince, just take I190 to I290 to I90 (thruway) like you are headed to Rochester......however, take the FIRST exit right after the tollbooth on I90. Its exit 49 (Depew)...also the exit for the airport. Go thru the tolls at the end of that exit, take a left at the light right there, and Bob Evans is right there on your right hand side. Real easy to find, that is why we made that the "Buffalo" meeting location

Email me if you have any questions.

How about Hot food in warm place?? Christmas Cheer type drinks would be nice but not necessary Although one request from me. Several years ago Matucci tried to kill us all at a WNYFBA meeting trying to get us to eat at Don Pablos on transit(I think). If we could avoid that place I would be greatful

Ok, Don Pablo's is out.

Duffs out in Orchard Park is very sports oriented, 8+ TV's, big screen, games, darts, etc. There is a bar that serves bar drinks. and IMO the wings are to dye for. They also have cheeseburgers, sandwiches, soups, etc.

Then there is Olive Garden, Fuddruckers, Hooters.,and ofcourse Chili's, Applebee's etc...

You want some good wings????

Matt,
If you get a chance, shoot me an email, or call my cell. I'd like to know what kind of ideas you have brewing. I have a few ideas to run past ya, and will help organize if ya need.

The wings are good at Duff's, for sure. But the place is an absolute dump. There is a coating of grease on everything! What about Chinese food?

As I said before From my experience the "chain" resturants always seem to be the cleanest...plus the food is consistent and great for the most part.

I vote for a Maccaroni Grill, Outback, or something like that. One of the nicer chains.
